According to Comscore, the film earned an impressive $31.7 million on its opening day on Wednesday, and went on to accumulate an estimated total of $204.6 million over five days until Sunday.
Moreover, the movie grossed an extra $172.8 million internationally, bringing its worldwide earnings to $377.5 million. With this raccoon-suited debut, the film surpassed Frozen 2 to become the largest global opening for an animated film ever.
